Leapmotor is an electric vehicle company that develops and manufactures smart battery-electric and extended-range vehicles. Founded in 2015, the company designs its vehicles around a high degree of in-house technology development, with capabilities spanning vehicle architecture, electric drive systems, batteries, electronic and electrical systems, assisted driving, and connected-car software. Its product portfolio includes sedans, SUVs, and MPVs across multiple vehicle segments.

Leapmotor has developed technologies including its cell-to-chassis battery integration, centrally integrated electronic and electrical architecture, and proprietary intelligent-driving systems. The company is also expanding internationally through Leapmotor International, a joint venture established with Stellantis in 2024 that uses Stellantis’ global sales and service network to distribute Leapmotor vehicles outside China. As of July 2026, Leapmotor had delivered more than 1.6 million vehicles.
