BYD

BYD is a global technology company whose businesses span automobiles, electronics, renewable energy, and rail transit. The company is best known for its electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles and has developed core technologies including the Blade Battery, dual-mode hybrid systems, vehicle platforms, and intelligent driving and control systems. BYD’s automotive portfolio covers passenger vehicles as well as commercial vehicles, while its broader energy businesses include battery storage and other zero-emission energy solutions.

Founded in Shenzhen in 1995, BYD began in rechargeable batteries before expanding into automobiles and other new-energy technologies. Today, its new energy vehicles are sold across more than 120 countries and regions, and the company continues to invest across the full energy chain, from generation and storage to electrified transportation and application. BYD is listed on both the Hong Kong and Shenzhen stock exchanges.
